Iexplore.exe - C:\WINDOWS$NtServicePackUninstall$ Iexplore.exe - C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer SECOND EDIT: I have done a search for iexplore.exe and found 21 different instances of it in a number of locations. I have followed the steps in Malware and Spyware cleaning guide, and I have also run scans with Avast Antivirus, Spybot S&D and AdAware.ĮDIT: I have been looking through the OTListIt log and there is definately malware in C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\Hosts - but I do not know the best way to deal with them. It's making it very difficult to do any work online and I am concerned that my security has been compromised. My system has recently started to run very slowly - especially during the first 30-40 minutes of start-up - and often seems extremely busy when I am only running a few processes.
